The dialogue which was sponsored by HelpAge International and Orgaisation of African Youth (OAYouth), runs as a part of action/2015 global campaign highlights the importance of inclusion of people of all ages in the Sustainable Development Goals being set by the United Nations to succeed the Millennium Develop Goals (MDGs) for the next fifteen years.
Archbishop Tutu indicated that that older people everywhere count and that people of all ages should be included in the Sustainable Development Goals.
He also averred that as people get older, their rights do not change. “As we get older, we are no less human and should not become invisible,” he said.
