On Friday, the national carrier announced that it had cancelled flights to Washington DC and New York due to the bad weather associated with winter storm Jonas.
However, flight SA 208 from Washington (IAD) via Dakar (DKR) remained cancelled on Sunday while flight SA 204 from New York (JFK) to Johannesburg (JNB) on Sunday also remained cancelled.
