The head of the ANC’s National Executive Committee on International Relations, Obed Bapela told the newspaper that the ruling party was discussing whether there is still a need for dual citizenship.

The controversial move would affect others who hold dual citizenship besides an Israeli passport.
Bapela’s comments have outraged the South African Zionist Federation with the organisation citing world events that need urgent attention from the ANC more than the Israeli-Palestine issue.
