President Jacob Zuma, AU Chair Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, International Relations Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane were among the high profile delegates who took to the stage and showed off some dance moves.

Earlier, people waited patiently in long queues to enter the hall where the event was taking place. Zuma was leading the ceremony.
Some revellers told eNCA.com they were waiting for the president’s speech which they hoped would address the xenophobia issue that’s plagued South Africa over the last few months.
