They’ve also discussed the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
Zimbabwe has praised its neighbour for how it dealt with the violence.
With 27 signed memorandums of understanding and agreements between them, South Africa and Zimbabwe continue to build their relationship.
The two countries have further committed to strengthening their security relations while helping to maintain peace and stability in the SADC region.
