President Zuma commended Basotho for soldiering on through the political and security difficulties that confronted their country to enable them to get through the elections peacefully.
Speaking in Lesotho on Tuesday at the inauguration of Prime Minister-elect Pakalitha Mosisili, President Zuma said the ordinary people of Lesotho played their part in seeing the country through a difficult chapter.
“They did not lose hope because they fully understand that hope is a campus to lead them to prosperity and development.”
Today’s inauguration comes after Lesotho held National Assembly Elections on 28 February, where Mosisili emerged as the leader of the winning coalition.
