UN Debates on Implementation of Development Agenda Post-2015

Convened by the President of the Assembly at its 69th session, Sam Kutesa, the forum aims to ensure mechanisms to make true the new goals of global progress, which will be established this year to give continuity to the millennium goals set in 2000. Financial resources, technologies and building and skills transfer are key to bring to fruition a true transformative and ambitious agenda, noted the organizers. According to the program, they will work in two panels, one dedicated to mobilizing resources and fostering partnerships, and another focused on the role of parliaments, cities and local authorities.
