The call to include a water goal in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was also made in the closing statement at the 2013 World Water Week. Building on that message, this year’s event included five films produced by SIWI, accompanied by five thematic papers, all “designed to enhance the understanding of the centrality of water in building resilient societies of the future.” Together, these materials make up this year’s Stockholm Statement on Water.
