The Head, Transparency and Anti-Corruption and senior civil society coordinator, UNGC office New York, Miss. Olajobi Makinwa, who relayed this at a media interaction held recently, said it was important that the government should include governance and fight against corruption as one of the pillars of the post 2015 development agenda.
According to her, issues like environmental sustainability, respecting human rights, and labour issues can be achieved, but everything may not be achieved holistically unless the issue of corruption is addressed.
