While the answer to that poser is looking likely to be a “No” with each passing day, and as global citizens prepare for next year’s United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 21) in France, the French government has now put it out, that there has to be a link between the right kind of climate change policies in nations and sustainable development. And this position was given life recently in Paris by the special representative for climate change negotiations, Ambassador Jacques Lapouge who is the High Official of the hosts of the impending COP.
