The meeting, which convened in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on 27-28 February 2014, focused on, inter alia: an update on national adaptation programmes of action (NAPAs); technical guidance and support to the least developed countries (LDCs) on national adaptation plans (NAPs); development of information resources for strengthening gender considerations in adaptation planning and implementation; a tool for monitoring and evaluating progress, effectiveness of and gaps in NAPs; and coherence and synergy of adaptation-related efforts under the UNFCCC.
