That is the view of the CEO of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development’s (Nepad) Planning and Coordinating Agency who is in New York as part of the UN General Assembly’s Africa-Nepad week.
Ibrahim Mayaki indicated that Nepad’s strategic focus on infrastructure and agricultural development remained two key pillars for the continued transformation of Africa. As the world body develops its post-MDG framework, Nepad’s main strategist wants Africa’s goals to be a major consideration.
