The Extraordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Southern African Development Community (Sadc) was held in Maputo, Republic of Mozambique on June 15, 2013. The Summit was attended by the Heads of State and government and their representatives to consider the political and security situation in the region, in particular the latest developments in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Republics of Madagascar and Zimbabwe.
