The Future of South Africa’s Foreign Policy: Continuity and Change?
This timely publication comes against the context of the changes in the South African administration following the ANC’s Polokwane Conference in 2007. Indications from the Zuma administration have been that there will be increased focus on domestic priorities, which in turn will inform foreign policy. Drawing on analysis from key foreign policy analysts, this monograph aims to stimulate further debate on the future of South Africa’s foreign policy, considering the challenges facing the country in terms of its identity, role in global governance, and engagement with strategic partners.
