The European Union Delegation to South Africa, in association with the Institute for Global Dialogue (IGD) and the Anti-Racism Network of South Africa (ARNSA), invite you to a panel discussion entitled “Racism and Inequality.”
The esteemed panel comprises Mr Michaël Privot, Director of the European Network Against Racism and the Honourable Ms Cécile Kashetu Kyenge, Italian Member of the European Parliament, focusing on the threats posed by racism to democratic societies, Prof. Margaret Lee, Visiting Professor at the Institute for Global Dialogue associated with UNISA, who has written on racism, structural inequality and African trade and Mr. Sean Moodley, The National Convener for the Anti-Racism Network South Africa will also be a panelist. The panelists will be joined by leading voices in student movements, academia, civil society and government. Dr Philani Mthembu, Executive Director of the Institute for Global Dialogue will moderate the dialogue.
